In fashion realms, no garment holds as much prestige and iconic status as the trench coat. From the bustling curbs of London's financial district to the palm tree lined walk ways of Monaco, the trench coat has maintained its place in our wardrobes, largely unchanged for over a century.

Largely unchanged for years, modern designers decided to adapt it for the feminine physique. Raising hems, shrinking waists and playing with colour-ways meant the trench became part of many more women's wardrobes.
Now, the classic trench; double breasted, beige, tortoise-shell buttons, remains a firm favourite with men and women alike. Driven by the rising profile of heritage brands and classic dressing, classic pieces like the trench are viewed as investments and are unlikely to ever lose their appeal. In fact, someone will probably be writing similar to this in another 100 years time.
