This winter women’s fashion will see a continuation of the ladylike styling that were so prominent throughout autumn.

The inspiration of vintage styling from the 1940s/50s and 60s has seen the catwalks and high street shop windows full of pretty floral blouses and demure fuller and longer length skirts, designers have bought this trend into 2010 by mixing in some more textural pieces such as leather.

Winter would seem to be the perfect season for this trend; the luxurious fabrics that are synonymous with the seasons evening and party wear lend themselves perfectly to ultra feminine dressing.

The glamour stakes are high as women’s fashion is taken to the next level this winter. Be on trend with bejewelled eveningwear, embellished accessories and lace detailing, and wrap the whole look up with a statement winter coat again in a luxury, feminine fabric like sheepskin, leather or glamorously printed wool.

Casual daywear has had an overhaul, try layering printed or detailed shirts with pure cashmere jumpers and cardigans. Say goodbye to the plain old jumper and embrace colour blocked, oversized or patterned knits. Replace tired jeans by investing in a figure flattering tailored pair.

Always remember whatever the occasion the key to ladylike dressing is that complete top to toe groomed look so don’t forget your accessories!
