Motorola CLIQ with MOTOBLUR is a smartphone available on T-Mobile USA. The handset is powered by a Qualcomm MSM7201A 528 MHz processor and features Google's Android operating system. Its dimensions are 114 X 58 X 15.6 mm and weighs 163 grams.
Motorola CLIQ comes with a 3.1 inches TFT capacitive touchscreen display which supports a resolution of 320 X 480 pixels and 256K colors. A full QWERTY keyboard with a 5 way navigation is also provided. The keyboard uses a slide out mechanism so you can hide it when you don't want to use it. Like most smartphones, it also comes with an accelerometer sensor and proximity sensor. The phone uses Motorola's MOTOBLUR User Interface with Live Widgets. Users can easily customize their phone by adding their favorite widgets and links on the home screen.
Motorola CLIQ has a 5 megapixel resolution camera which can take images of upto 2592 X 1944 pixels and record videos of QVGA resolution at 24 frames per second. Other features of the camera include autofocus, geo-tagging, image settings, etc. Multimedia features include a music player which supports MP3/eAAC+/WAV/WMA9 file formats and a video player which supports MP4/H.263/H.264/WMV9 file formats. However, there is no FM Radio option available. The phone comes with a 256 MB RAM, 512 MB RAM, 1GB internal memory and a 2GB memory card. However, users can further expand the phone's storage capacity as it supports memory cards of upto 32 GB. Practically unlimited entries can be stored in the phonebook and call records. Data connectivity options of the phone include Class 12 GPRS, Class 12 EDGE, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and microUSB v2.0.
The Motorola CLIQ offers a wide array of applications. A document viewer allows you to access your Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, PDF documents directly on the phone. Like all the Android phones, it also comes with apps of google services like Google Maps, Google Search, Gmail, etc. Users can access the internet via the fULL HTML browser. The advantage of having a HTML browser is that you can visit the high content versions of websites instead of the stripped down mobile versions. Other applications on the phone include Shazam, iMeem mobile, voice memo, T9, digital compass, calculator, etc.
