Business ethics deals with the options exercised by people in organizations in terms of decisions and actions. Some choices are considered good and others are not. But there are no standard definitions. Much of the choice depends on the perspective of what is good for business and from what point of view.



A common point of view early is that what is good for owners or shareholders is good for business. All cost-effective actions and decisions are considered good in this perspective. All organizational behavior of individuals and groups that perspective is oriented to revenue generation with a single-minded approach.



The danger with this point of view or behavior is that sometimes there may be other damage that are not shareholders, but they are affected by this behavior and decisions. The laws governing the conduct of such activities and options in accordance with the legal aspects right and wrong do not and can not deal with morally right or wrong decisions, if not legally wrong.



And this can lead to making "smart" legally defensible, but otherwise injurious in business, hurting customers, society, government and other stakeholders than just shareholders. An emerging view that is gaining wider acceptance is that the greater good of all stakeholders must be considered and management options have to be made according to such considerations, if the company has to consider operating with ethics in business.



The corporate social responsibility, not just the responsibility of shareholders, is the foundation of this school of thought. This is necessary not from the point of view of business as a "good boy" alone, but it is also necessary to construct an acceptable image of the company in the eyes of society and consumers, and therefore for their products sell well. Business also makes sense to take the decisions that are right at this point of view and go through them.



The promotion of business ethics as it comes through various actions and cultural aspects: the kind of people a business recruits, formal and informal principles and practices encouraged by the managers, the systems of rewards and rewards for different types of behavior The treatment of employees by the company and the owners, the practices of human resource management, and in general it is considered as organizational behavior, and in turn shapes and strengthens organizational behavior.
